On October 12, 2016, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a vehicle that was stolen from an address on Quail Ridge Place in Steinbach. Shortly thereafter, police received a report of a motor vehicle fire on Hespeler Road South in Steinbach.
Through investigation, RCMP learned that a vehicle that was stolen from Quail Ridge Place and was later set on fire and left on Hespler Road. Police say that the theft of the vehicle took place between the hours of 9pm and 7am and the motor vehicle fire took place between the hours of 9am and 11am.
