The City has announced that temporary spring roadway weight restrictions in Steinbach will correspond with provincial spring road restrictions. At this time they are scheduled to begin at 6am on Monday, March 8, 2021.
Road restriction signs will be clearly posted at affected road intersections. An online map illustrating all restrictions is now available.
The City of Steinbach has made some changes to spring road restrictions starting spring 2021. Changes can be found on the city website at steinbach.ca.
The City’s Community Services Officer will be monitoring truck activity within Steinbach. The 65% of normal axle load rules will be applied, enforced and fines issued to violators accordingly.
