On November 29, 2010, just before 6pm, Lynn Lake RCMP as well as local Emergency Services and EMS were dispatched to the scene of a fatal house fire in Lynn Lake, Manitoba.
On November 26, 2010 at about 10:45am, following a month long investigation, RCMP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence, about 5 km south of Arborg, in the RM of Armstrong.
On November 29, 2010, at about 5:30am, Melita and Virden RCMP as well as local Emergency Services and EMS were dispatched to the scene of a propane furnace explosion.
Around 3:35am, on November 27, 2010, officers from the Grandview RCMP detachment were called to assist Natural Resources officers with a traffic stop south west of Ethelbert.
On November 26, 2010, at about 4:05pm, Powerview RCMP were informed of a hit and run accident in Fort Alexander, Manitoba, involving an 8-year-old student.
On November 25, 2010, at about 12:30pm, Little Grand Rapids RCMP were advised of an overdue hiker.
On November 20, 2010 at about 11:15pm, RCMP Leaf Rapids were advised by the medical staff of the Leaf Rapids Health Centre, that a local 7-month-old male infant was brought in unresponsive.
On November 25, 2010, at about 3:40pm, Oakbank / Beausejour RCMP were dispatched to a two vehicle fatal head-on collision on PR 302, 3 km north of PTH 15, in the RM of Springfield.
On November 25, 2010, shortly after 11:30am, Stonewall RCMP, along with ambulance and fire crews, were dispatched to a two vehicle collision on Highway 6, about 2 miles north of the Perimeter.
RCMP Members will once again be conducting checkstops throughout the province in an effort to promote safe driving this holiday season.
