On Saturday, January 19, 2019, Norris Hora lost his battle with cancer.
He was predeceased by his father Andy, mother Bertha, brothers Gerry and Wayne, brother-in-law Bill and nephew Darren.
He leaves behind: wife LouAnn, children: Tammie (Chris), Gwen, Gary (Donna), Trish (Scott), Amanda (Brad); grandchildren: Amara, Ella, Toni, Kendall, Quinn, Ashley, Keyan and Brenden; siblings: Patsy, Maureen (Ken), Lana (Tom), and brother Glen.
Also left to cherish his memory are numerous nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law in Manitoba and B.C. and his cousins. His dear friends: John and Diane Babiak and Bernie Bedford.
Norris lived an adventurous life, working throughout Manitoba and B.C. in various occupations before returning to his beloved Woodridge.
He loved his Winnipeg Jets, politics, cribbage games, BBQ’s and spoiling his fur baby Chiquita, who is feeling the loss as well.
Norris was a man who was respected in so many different ways… while it is unfortunate that he was dealt a cruel hand in the card game of life, he will rest easy knowing that we will carry on his spirit…
He has chosen to be cremated with no formal service. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date for family and close friends. He would like all of us to share our stories, laugh and hoist a few in his memory.
Norris you will continue to be celebrated. We love and miss you…
Rest easy bon hommé…
