Obituary

Elisabeth “Betty” Friesen (nee Doerksen), 88, of Steinbach, MB, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.

She was predeceased by her husband David.

She is survived by two daughters, one sister, one brother and their families.

The come and go viewing service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy 52 West, Steinbach, MB, and at the chapel prior to the service.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with interment to follow at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Betty may be made to Southern Health-Sante Sud. (In cheque memo line: Bethesda Hospital Palliative Care).
