Obituary

Rita Roy, age 68, of Steinbach, MB, formerly of Moncton, New Brunswick, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.

She is survived by one daughter Cyndi (Mike) Sobering, one son Jason (Elaine) Quirk, grandchildren: Nicole (Hervé) Maynard, Ariel & Theo; Brianne Sobering (Rick Friesen) & Kaythia; and Devin Sobering. Along with one sister Yvonne Chase, and three brothers Charlie (Shirley) Chase, John Chase, and Harry (Josephine) Chase.

Rita was predeceased by her parents, four sisters and three brothers.

The family would like to thank Dr. Krahn, Dr. Toews and the CancerCare staff for all their care and support.

A prayer service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Christ our Saviour Catholic Parish, Steinbach, MB followed by the funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB.
