Celeste Therrien, age 98, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Villa Youville, Ste. Anne, MB.

She is survived by her two daughters: Lina, Yvonne; six sons: Joe, Henry, Rene, Romeo, Andre & Aimé; her sister Irène, 25 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Celeste was predeceased by her husband Adrien Therrien, both parents, five sisters, and brothers-in-law.

Celeste was a very friendly, hard working, strong willed lady who loved to help her family. She also loved the outdoors, gardening, canning, knitting and fiddle music. She was also a seamstress and enjoyed making blankets. Celeste had a big heart and always liked to give back in whatever way she could.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB followed by the interment at Enfant-Jesus Roman Catholic Cemetery, Richer, MB.
