Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Jacob U. Doerksen announces his passing on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, in his 99th year.

Jacob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Tina, and his children: Nettie (Bill), Peter (Lorna), Anni (Vic), Lisa (Ken) Maria (Francis), Bernie (Cyndi), and son-in-law Dan. Jacob will also be fondly remembered by his eleven grandchildren, Eric, Evan, Adam, Brianne, Shawna, Landon, Aaron, Lev, Koen, Mira, Quinn, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Jacob was predeceased by his daughter Lena, four brothers and one sister.

A funeral service in memory of Jacob will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB with Pastor Frank Doerksen officiating Viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB.
