Obituary

On Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at 11:15 pm our loving husband, father and grandfather Andy Watchorn, surrounded by his loving wife and their children, went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior.

Andy was born October 30, 1946, in l’Orignal, Ontario and was raised by Rita and Allan Watchorn in Beachburg, Ontario.

Andy met Dianne Frey in Elmira, Ontario and married August 8, 1970. They moved from Ontario to Steinbach, Manitoba in 1974, and he began his career as an electrician which he did for 25 years. He switched careers due to his health and began long haul trucking until the age of 64, a job he never truly loved as his heart was always at home.

Andy has had his struggles with health for many years but never complained, and rarely let it show. He loved Gods word and knew most by heart. His desire was to witness to anyone who he came across and that all would enter into the kingdom where he will now be waiting to meet them.

He is survived by wife Dianne, children: Brad and Nicole, Lisa and JD, Bryan and Colleen; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, brother James and Evelyn and mom Ermina Frey.

Andy was predeceased by his parents Rita & Allan Watchorn and Earl Frey.

The funeral service will be held Monday, May 6, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Springs Church, Steinbach, MB., with viewing one hour prior to the service.

Interment will take place at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB.
