Obituary

David Gordon Rempel, age 80, of Steinbach, MB, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Bethesda Place, Steinbach, MB

He is survived by his wife Helena, their two sons, two sisters and six grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents.

David married his wife of 55 years on April 24, 1964. He was a pastor for 33 years. He had a love for gardening and plants; bread with butter and jam on it was also something that he loved to eat. David was quiet, reserved and also very kind.

A private family service will be held on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 1:30 pm with interment to follow.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 27, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel.

If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of David, may be made to Steinbach Bible College, 50 MB-12, Steinbach, MB R5G 1T4.
