Obituary

George Tourond, of Steinbach, MB., passed away Saturday, December 5th, 2020 at the Health Sciences Centre, Wpg, MB., at the age of 73 years.

George is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Delores, daughters, Lisa (Maynard), Jennifer; grandchildren: Kelly, Riley, Brie and Crosby. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

He is preceded by his mother Adrienne and father Leo, brother Noel and younger sister in early infancy.

His true passion in life was going for coffee with his buddies and his long career in trucking. George will be remembered for his loving smile, big hugs and kisses. He was a man always willing to lend a helping hand.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Funk and the HSC ICU team along with Bethesda emergency team.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George’s name to CancerCare in Steinbach, MB.

A private family funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
