Obituary

Tony Maksymetz, aged 73 years, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 following a battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Charleen (Kevin), son Vincent, grandchildren Ella and Zachary, brothers Sylvester and Lawrence (Alice), sisters Clarice and Carol, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his mother Rose, parents Anne and John, brothers: Morris, Steve and Fred; and sisters: Helen and Mary.

Tony will be fondly remembered for his love of God. He was not shy to show it and he had a strong prayer life. He had a kind and generous heart. He will surely be missed.

A prayer service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish, 365 Loewen Blvd, Steinbach, MB. Due to Covid-19, a gathering is limited to 10 people – personal family will attend.

We wish to thank the medical staff at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB., for thier care of Tony.
