Obituary

Joseph Adam, age 67, of Steinbach, MB, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB, with his family by his side.

He is survived by five sisters and 12 brothers.

He was predeceased by his parents Jospeh Adam (Sr.) and Bertha Adam (nee Gauthier), one sister and one brother.

Joseph was born on April 11, 1951. He was born prematurely, which made him a very special child. He spent 44 years of his life on the farm in St. Labre, with his parents.

As his parents got older, he moved in with his sister Mona and family. Shortly thereafter, he was employed with Kindale Occupational Centre for 15 years.

Soon after this Joe’s health started declining. He underwent a triple bypass surgery. The days of working at Kindale stopped and he joined the retirement program. He loved going there.

In the last years, Joe looked forward to spending time in St. Labre with Art and going to Dauphin to see Jerry and family.

Joe will always be remembered by his BIG SMILE and willingness to help anyone in need.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with a viewing prior to the service.

Burial following the reception at St. Labre Cemetery, St. Labre, MB.
