Obituary

We are saddened to announce the passing of Anita Parisien (nee Braun), age 61, on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the St. Boniface Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Raoul (Ralph) Parisien, daughter Jacqueline, son Noel, and grandson Zach; two brothers, Werner (Dorothy), Peter; two sisters, Anne (Guy), Jessie (Ed), one sister-in-law Edna, one step-sister, Sandy (Brian); Ralph’s family; six sisters- Leona; Grace (Gary), Denise, Georgette, Angele, Pierrette (Roland) one brother Edouard (Maria); many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents: Mother Anna Braun in 1964, Father David J. Braun in 1982, step-Mom Mintie Braun in 2004 and brother Leonard in 2012; by Ralph’s parents: Father Leon Parisien in 1987, Mother Cecile Parisien in 1992, niece April Penner in 1999 and brother-in-law Louis Boille in 2000.

Honouring Anita’s wishes, a Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Notre Dame Recreational Centre, 271 de la Cathedral Ave, Winnipeg, MB.

Private family ash interment will be at a later date.
