Obituary

Ruben Plett, age 77, of Steinbach, MB, passed onto his eternal home to live with Jesus, on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the St Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, MB.

He is survived by his beloved wife Edna of 30 years, his two daughters: Carlanna Schultz & husband Randy, their children: Trenton, Mason & Kailey; Geraldine Wiens & husband Kelly, their children: Ryker, Maylyn & Tianna; three sons: Reg & wife Peggy, their children: Carla, Taylor & wife Nicole, & Trevor; Lynn & wife Catherine, their children: Cassidy & Riley; Maynard & wife Lisa, their children: Brie & Crosby.

Dad was predeceased by his first wife (our mom) Marilyn, his parents Bernhard and Katherine Plett, his brothers Erwin Plett, Harvey Plett and many other relatives, too numerous to mention.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Ridgewood Evangelical Mennonite Church, Ridgewood, MB, with a viewing prior to the service. The burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr Minnaar and the nursing staff at the Bethesda Emergency Department and the Cardiology Staff at the St Boniface Hospital. Also a special thanks to all the family and friends that have supported our family with prayers, visits, food and flowers.
