Obituary

Peacefully, with family by her side, Agatha Voth (nee Sawatzky), 97, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Grunthal Menno Home for the Aged, Grunthal, MB.

Left to cherish her memory are three daughters and five sons: Linda, Elma, Edna, Benny(Mary), Alvin (Martha), Arnie, Ron (Janet), and Randy. She also leaves 39 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren to cherish the memory of her love, compassion and inspiration for each of their lives.

She was predeceased by her husband Bernhard (Ben) on October 8, 2013, son Johnny, two daughters-in-law: Helen & Sandra; three sons-in-law: Jake, Leonard & Ike; three grandsons, and her parents and all her siblings.

We the family would like to thank all the staff at the Menno Home from the bottom of our hearts for all the love, care, patience and compassion you had for our mother and for us, the family the last couple of days.

She has completed her journey on earth and now is walking the streets of gold. Her prayer has been answered.
We love you mom and will truly miss you.

A come & go viewing will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

The memorial service will be held Sunday, May 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., with burial prior to the service at Grunthal Cemetery, Grunthal, MB.
