Obituary
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, sister and friend, Yvette Turenne of La Broquerie, MB on Friday, May 25, 2018 at the age of 87 years.
She was born September 19, 1930, the eldest of ten children.
She leaves to mourn her children: Henri (Diane Wenden), Gilbert (Judy Kiesman), Thérèse (René Tallaire), Denis (Carol Desrochers) and Jacqueline (Claude Moquin); 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Wilf (Doude) Turenne in 2009 and three siblings: Joseph, Jeannette and Oscar. She was also predeceased by her parents Paul – Emile and Rosina (nee Larivière) Gagnon.
Cremation has taken place.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, June 1 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joachim Roman Catholic Church, 101 Rue Principal St. in La Broquerie.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society, 10 – 120 Donald Street; Wpg., MB R3C 4G2 or Life’s Vision, 618 Muriel Street, Winnipeg, MB R3Y 0Y2.
The family wishes to thank the staff of home care of S.E. Health, Msgr. Noel Delaquis and Joanne Bonneteau for all their dedicated care. Also a special thank you to Father John McKenzie for the time he gave to visit Mom.
