Obituary

George Roland Berthelette, 66, of Morris, passed away on June 26, 2025, at Morris Hospital following a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born on March 25, 1959, George was a beloved husband, devoted father, and a cherished friend to many. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love for the outdoors

An avid golfer, fisherman, and bird-watcher, George found peace and joy in nature’s quiet moments.

George is survived by his loving wife, Jo-Anne, and their son, Eric, who will carry forward his father’s strength of character and spirit of compassion. He is also survived by his brothers, Ron and Daniel; and his sisters, Annette and Shirley (Gary), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, August; his mother, Leah; his brother, Paul; and his beloved daughter, Alisha.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Hanna Hoffman, Don and Lynette Hildebrandt, and all the family and friends who visited George during his time in palliative care. Your presence brought him comfort and strength. A special thank you also goes to the Dr. Michael Fraser and all of the staff at Morris Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.

He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
