It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lee-Anne Lindquist, with her loving family by her side, on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the age of 63.
Lee-Anne was born and raised in Dryden, Ontario, where she attended school at Sprucedale and later moved onto Dryden High, where she graduated grade 13. Lee-Anne loved doing crafts and could do anything if she put her mind to: crocheting, cross stitching, and knitting. She was an avid reader and loved building puzzles. In the last few years, she enjoyed garage sailing or as she called it “sailing.”
Lee-Anne had many jobs in her life. Her first job was a hostess at the Best Western, which she never stopped being at family gatherings and get togethers. She loved to cook and entertain, and no one left her home hungry.
She quit working to raise her loving son Andrew, her pride and joy. Once Andrew was older, she returned to the workforce as a bus driver at Dryden Bus Lines. She then became part owner of Link Signs with her parents until she moved to Steinbach in 2005, where she worked for Signex Manufacturing and Physics Therapy, just to name a few. Until she found her niche in 2021 at Carlson Commercial in Winnipeg.
She is survived by the love of her life, Andrew; her son Andrew (Stacey); granddaughter Eliana, the apple of her eye; and bonus granddaughter Harlee. Her parents Garry & Juliette Lindquist; brother Rick (Barb); nieces Kyla and Laura; Aunty Tooty, and cousins.
Lee-Anne is known for her generous nature and her wonderful sense of humor. She also enjoyed her numerous winter vacations to Barbados to visit with Andrew’s family.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Christ Our Saviour Catholic Parish, 365 Loewen Blvd, Steinbach, MB.
