Obituary

With great sadness we announce the recent passing of our Mother, Granny, and Great-Granny Marcelle Spicer (nee Beaudry), on Friday, July 11, 2025.

She was predeceased by her husband Lyle of 54 years, her brother Rene, and parents Oscar and Isabelle.

Marcelle (Granny) is survived by her daughter Andrea (Ken), her granddaughters Stephanie (Nicholas), Tiffany (Kevin), Tyrel), and great-grandkids Isabelle, Dax, Oscar, and Leroy, her sister Beatrice, brother Guy (Sheri), cousin Donna and numerous other family members.

Marcelle loved her family and traveling. She and Lyle would take their granddaughters everywhere. Summers were filled with adventures, family, fun and sharing her love of scenery, Granny always read the map, even sometimes from the backseat. She loved to capture the memories, always running the camera.

She was a resident of Vassar, MB., for many years and was involved in many community projects such as Vassar Chamber of Commerce, Pine Needles and Cones, and local Service to Seniors Resource Council. She was also the bookkeeper for Boutang Enterprises for 50 years. Marcelle worked at the Sprague Branch of Access Credit Union over 15 years before retiring to spend time with family.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at Vassar Community Hall, Vassar, MB.
