Guage Christian Badiuk, aged 20, of Gardenton, Manitoba, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the scene of an accident.
He is survived by his parents Christine (Mike) and Wayne Badiuk, and his two sisters.
He was predeceased by his grandfather John Wyryha, and his Auntie Shirley Sawatzky.
Guage lived in Gardenton, Manitoba his whole life. In 2023, he graduated from the Shevchenko School in Vita, MB. He completed his second year of university at the University of Manitoba in April 2025.
Guage began working at Gardenton Park in the summer at the age of 16. After graduating at the age of 18, he worked for the Fast Brothers in Blumenort, MB. In 2024, he started working at Maple Leaf.
Guage loved animals, history, and learning. He enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, quadding, and fixing classic cars, trucks, or tractors, or being outside whenever he could. Most of all, he loved his friends and family. He was a true country boy.
The Funeral Rite and the Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., with viewing prior to the service. Interment to follow at the Ukrainian Orthodox South Church Cemetery, Gardenton, MB.
