Obituary

Unexpectedly on Monday, June 4, 2018 Adolf Schoenrock, our father, opa, & friend, passed away at the age of 75, at the Bethesda Regional Health Center, Steinbach, MB.

He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth, his sons: Albert (Candice) and Karl (Raelle) and his grandsons: Logan, Ashton & Brady.

He was predeceased by his wife Kiriakula.

He was born on July 23, 1942 in Deutschendorf, Germany. As a teenager, he immigrated to Canada with his family and eventually settled in the Friedensfeld area. Over the years, he ran a dairy and beef farm, and also was a long-time employee at the Grunthal Auction Mart.

He loved farming and visiting with his many friends and family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at the St. John’s Cemetery, RM of Hanover, MB.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the family with funeral costs.
