Mom’s world revolved around her family. Her pride in their achievements was evident in every conversation, and her home was a haven of warmth and treats for all ages. She had a passion for cooking, knitting, and engaging in word search and jigsaw puzzles. Her competitive nature shone through in curling matches, card games and during her reign as Bingo Queen, where she left a memorable impression. Connie cherished her time working at the Morris Golf Course and the St. Jean Curling Club canteen, where she could combine her love for service with her playful teasing.
Loyalty was a cornerstone of Mom’s character. She demonstrated this through her unwavering dedication to her husband, Phil, especially during the last years of his life. Now reunited, their love story continues beyond this world. Mom’s life was a testament to the power of love, and the strength of family bonds.
Her presence was a gift to those who had the privilege of knowing her, and her absence will be deeply felt. The family extends their profound gratitude to the staff at Repos Jolys, the St. Pierre Hospital, and the Chalet Malouin for their exceptional care and compassion shown to Connie.
