Obituary

Linda Elizabeth Doerksen, aged 95 years, of Steinbach, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB. She spent eight weeks in the hospital after a fall and battled some serious infections.

She will be missed by her sisters, Alice, Doris and Jo-Anne and their families along with many friends and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents Cornelius and Elisabeth Doerksen and her brother, Irwin Doerksen.

We want to thank the doctors and staff at Bethesda Hospital for their care.

An informal memorial gathering with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. There will be opportunity for sharing memories and thoughts about Linda’s life. We welcome you to come and share fellowship and food with the family.

A private family interment will be held prior to the service.
