Obituary

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Margaret Rose Yatsko, age 85, of Steinbach, MB., formerly of Sundown, MB., passed away peacefully, on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.

Margaret is predeceased by her husband Paul, her parents Steve and Rose Andrusiak and her granddaughter Brittany Lischynski.

She is survived by her children Virginia (Roy) Lischynski, Ken (Sharon) Yatsko and Susan (Bob) Windsor; grandchildren Kevin Lischynski, Adam, Jason, Amanda (Justin) Stefanchuk, Tamara (Martin) Formela and Brenden Windsor; great-grandchildren Addison and Alex; as well as step-grandchildren Lisa and Ashley and their family’s.

Margaret’s working career was in Vita Personal care Home as Health Care Aide until retirement.

Margaret was always mentally sharp. Whether it was playing scrabble with her girls or playing cards, she made every gathering a memorable one. She had a deep love of gardening. Her yard was always bright with flowers that she tended to with care and pride.

As per her request, a private family service will be held.

Thank you to the health care team at Bethesda Regional Health Care Centre for your compassionate care helping guide us through the last week providing us support for the final days with our mother. Extra special thanks to nurse Thea on our final hours with our mother.
