Obituary

In loving memory of Ben Voth who passed away on January 7, 2026 at the age of 82.

Remaining to cherish Ben’s memory is his wife of 61 years Mary, his two children, Debra and Gord (Shari), his four grandchildren, Danielle (Cory), Jessey, Dyton, Drake, and three great grandchildren Benjamin, Emma, and Kodi.

He is survived by his siblings, Linda, Elma, Edna, Arnie (Kathy), Ron and sister-in-law Martha.

Ben was predeceased by his brothers Johnny (Helen), Alvin, Randy (Sandra), three brother in laws, Ike, Jake, Leonard and his son Bruce.

Ben and Mary got married in 1964 in Silberfeld Church, and they raised their three children in their home they built together on Prefontaine Rd. They spent many years travelling and in 1986 they bought their site at lilac, where they built many memories with family and friends for 30 years.

Ben has a large family that will miss him dearly, and although spread out around Canada, all of them were able to make it out to visit him one last time.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone that took time out of their schedules to sit with Ben, visit with Ben, and give him the almost constant company that he cherished throughout his hospital stay. Included in this, is the staff in the rehab ward at the Bethesda Hospital for their care over the last two months, the kind and gentle care Ben received during his stay was second to none, and we have no words to describe our gratitude.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at the Bothwell Christian Fellowship Church, 20 Sara Ave, New Bothwell, MB., with interment to follow in the Silberfeld CMC Cemetery.
