Obituary

Aaron Michael Fehr, age 35, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Grace Hospital, Winnipeg, MB.

He will be deeply missed by his loving partner, Avery, with whom he shared a home and a life, by his family, friends and all those who were lucky enough to know him.

Aaron was known for his kindness and work ethic. He brought care, and practicality into everyday moments, and he showed up for the people he cared about.

He wore many hats at his work; he was interested in all of the different departments, and took pride in all the work he did.

Outside of work, Aaron enjoyed playing guitar, writing songs and performing with friends in various bands, playing card/video games with his friends and partner, as well as traveling. Aaron also enjoyed Mexican and spicy food, collecting rocks/crystals, photography, programming and coding, spending time with animals, building fires and climbing trees.

He was a shiny soul, a deep spirit, a safe space, a tight hugger, a true friend, a creative force, a goofy accent experimenter and an unconditional lover.

More than anything, Aaron will be remembered for the love he gave and the kindness he showed others. His presence was a comfort, and his absence leaves an emptiness in the lives he touched that will take a long time to heal.

There will not be any formal service at this time, but please celebrate Aaron’s life in your unique way that honours the beauty that will always be Aaron.
