Obituary

With heavy hearts and love for life, we announce the passing of Charles “Chuck” Edward Purvis on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Chuck will be missed by his loving wife of 26 years, Dona Hlady; his daughter Taylor Layne Anderson (Dustin Anderson); his two grandchildren, Emma and Adam; his sister Julia Purvis Scaletta (Daniel Scaletta), and niece Melynda Love.

He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Marjorie.

Chuck’s greatest passion was flying, and served as a Medivac Captain for Perimeter Aviation. Outside of work, he found joy in old cars and his bass guitar.

He will be remembered for the love he gave and the kindness he showed others. His absence leaves a hole in all our hearts.

There will be no formal services as per Chuck’s wishes, but please celebrate Chuck’s life in your own unique way that honours him.
