Obituary

Sue Fuchs, age 64 years, of St. Malo, MB., passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Grunthal Menno Home, Grunthal, MB.

Sue is survived by her husband of 29 years, Gerry; stepson Noël (Carly; grandchildren Paisley and Ashton); her sisters Pat (Leonard) Lands and Eleanor (David) Monk; in-laws Patrick (Rachel) Fuchs and Patricia (Don) Plamondon, as well as nieces and nephews and extended family.

She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Fern Westfall.

Sue worked for Manitoba Hydro for many years. Her enjoyment of the outdoors included quadding, hunting, fishing and spending time at the cabin.

Sue resided at the Grunthal Menno Home for the past 11 years due to MS.

The family extends their thanks to the compassionate and dedicated staff for their exceptional care and support.

Per Sue’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
