Obituary

Susie Fehr, age 66, of Steinbach, MB., passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.

She is survived by John (Shirley), Ben, Peter (Sylvia), brother-in-law Henry, Dave, Jake (Carmelle), Anne (Cliff), Nick (Lorrie), Henry (Lois), Mary, Betty (Darrin) and their families.

She was predeceased by her parents (Abram & Anna), brother Abe (Verna), sister Trina, sister-in-law Debbie and one niece Rhonda.

Susie was born in Winkler, Manitoba on December 7, 1959, to a large loving family. She grew up in Kleefeld, Manitoba on a small farm. In her later years, she moved to Steinbach where she still resided.

After her parents passed she was then supported by enVision. Susie worked at Kindale for 40 years then looked forward to retirement. She loved animals, especially cats. She fostered cats for Steinbach & Area Animal Rescue until the very end.

Susie was also very involved with her church. She made it her mission to share Jesus and pray for everyone. She was very community minded, loved to attend as many functions as possible. Susie had many creative hobbies and enjoyed traveling whenever possible. She loved spending time with family and friends.

Susie, we as the family will miss your jokes and laughter. Forever loved!

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

The family would like to thank all the healthcare workers that cared for Susie.
