Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of William Roy Gregg, age 60, of Sundown, MB. Roy passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB.

He is survived by his son, Michael; his brothers, George, James, Tommy, and Ernest; and his sisters, Mary and Margaret.

He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Andy.

Roy had a passion for farming, his Massey Ferguson tractors, and his three beloved dogs.

The youngest son of the late James and Annie Gregg of Cloughmills, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, Roy immigrated to Canada in 1999. He first settled on a farm in Vita, MB, where he raised cattle and hogs. In 2006, he and his son moved to their farm in Sundown, MB, where Roy raised cattle, sold hay, and operated a custom haying business.

Roy will be deeply missed by Michael, his siblings, and his extended family in Ireland.

Cremation has taken place.

As per Roy’s wishes, no public service will be held.
