Obituary

It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister. After a lengthy battle with cancer Kathy passed away on April 23, 2026, at the St Boniface Hospital.

Left to mourn Kathy’s passing and miss her dearly are her husband of 53 years, Herb, daughters: Melanie and Amanda, grandchildren; Cam, Aaron, Louis, Noah and Katharina; sister; Elaine, sister-in-laws; Dawna (Greg) and Val (Lloyd), numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Henry and Katharina Doell, mother and father in law; Alfred and Gloria Neumann, brothers in law; Eugene Hildebrand, Fred, Telly and Perry Neumann.

Kathy was born in Morris on January 6, 1956. She cherished every moment with her husband, daughters and grandchildren. Kathy was a kind, loving, and spiritual woman who showed genuine empathy and compassion to all who knew her. No matter where Kathy and her family resided, she took pride in making her house a home. She was a talented cook and baker that shared her gifts with those who were near and dear to her. Kathy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She could often be found outside on the swing enjoying a good cup of coffee and the pages of a book. Not to be forgotten, Kathy also dedicated a large portion of her life to a very successful career in Healthcare finance. Kathy lived each day to the fullest, bringing positivity and love wherever she went.
