Three Lorette area youth were apprehended in the early morning hours on August 8, 2009, after a complaint of a house being egged was investigated.

A couple from Morris Manitoba are facing assault charges after an altercation at a campground near St. Malo.

On August 9, 2009 at approximately 10:30pm, RCMP Roblin Detachment were dispatched to a fatal collision involving a fuel tanker Super B about 11 kilometres west of Roblin on Highway 5 at the Lake of the Prairies bridge near the Saskatchewan border.

In the early morning hours of August 8, 2009, Elphinstone RCMP were advised of a fire at the Valleyview Hotel in the town of Elphinstone.

On August 8, 2009, at approximately 6pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP received a complaint of a vehicle driving erratically in the northeast area of the city.

Selkirk RCMP are investigating the shooting of a 53-year-old male resident of Selkirk that occurred earlier today.

Earlier this month, Thompson RCMP received a call from Canada Safeway reporting a theft of groceries.

On August 6, 2009 at approximately 3:30 pm, a black 2004 Chevrolet Silverado bearing Manitoba Marker FFT 917 was stolen from the Carberry Hospital Parking lot.
