Marianne Collisi was born December 9, 1930, in Cologne, Germany. She lived through World War Two. There she and her family worked to help the Jews to safety, whether it was bringing them food or helping them to get out of the work camps. Marianne came to Canada in 1976 and settled in Nova Scotia with her then husband Werner Collisi and daughter Marion. Then in 2012, Marianne made the move to Blumenort, Manitoba, to be with her family. Marianne loved to garden, read and make things such as afghans and other such crafts. She loved to work with her hands. She had a love for animals, especially goats and geese. Marianne loved a good glass of gin and tonic once in a while. She loved travelling the world. She went on a one year cruise around the world at the age of 65. She was a quiet soul that loved to people watch and just listen to others. Marianne was an old soul. She loved to give to others when they least expected it. Most of all Marianne loved to laugh, she saw the humor in all aspects of life. Marianne always gave a person her heart to others in need. She truly was a fashionable, classy lady.
